PPH

Polypropylene homopolymer

Homopolymer demonstrates the highest rigidity of all three basic PP varieties. The material shows low impact strength at freezing temperatures, while it has very good chemical resistance with the exception of aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons. Examples of applications are: raffia, injection moulding of thick and thin-walled elements, film and pipes extrusion, container thermoforming.

  • PPH TOTAL
  • PPH TATREN
  • PPH TIPPLEN

PPC

Polypropylene block copolymer

The block copolymer demonstrates the highest impact resistance among all types of PP. The material shows high impact strength at freezing temperatures and is resistant to stress crack formation. It has good chemical resistance with the exception of aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons. Examples of applications are: injection moulding of thick-walled and thin-walled elements, extrusion of films and pipes, thermoforming of containers.

  • PPC TATREN
  • PPC TIPPLEN

PPR

Random polypropylene copolymer

Random copolymer has the highest transparency among PPs and at the same time moderately good impact strength at low temperatures. It shows very good chemical resistance with the exception of aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons. Examples of applications are: injection moulding of thick-walled and thin-walled elements, extrusion of films and pipes.

  • PPR TATREN
  • PPR TIPPLEN

mPP

Metallocene polypropylene

Metallocene PP grades demonstrate excellent transparency, higher deformation resistance and better organoleptic properties. They show very good chemical resistance with the exception of aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons. Metallocene catalysts make it possible to produce PP with much higher homogeneity and degree of purity. Examples of applications are: injection moulding of thick-walled and thin-walled elements, film extrusion, bottle blow moulding.

  • PP LUMICENE

HDPE

High density polyethylene

High-density polyethylene (0.935 - 0.965 g/cm3) is harder than LDPE and therefore more susceptible to scratching, as well as having a higher mechanical strength and melting point (125°C). Examples of applications are: injection moulding of thick-walled and thin-walled elements, bottle and film blow moulding, pipe extrusion.

  • HDPE TOTAL
  • HDPE TIPELIN

MDPE

Medium density polyethylene

Medium density polyethylene (0.926 - 0.940 g/cm3) has very good impact strength and flexibility, even at low temperatures. It is resistant to acid, alkali and salt solutions. Examples of applications are: film and bottle blow moulding, pipe extrusion.

  • MDPE TOTALLDPE

Low density polyethylene

Low-density polyethylene (0.918 - 0.930 g/cm3) has very good impact strength and flexibility, even at low temperatures. LDPE is soft material and susceptible to ageing under the influence of ultraviolet radiation, but is resistant to chemicals. Examples of applications are: injection moulding of thick-walled and thin-walled elements, film blow moulding and coating.

  • LDPE TOTAL
  • LDPE TIPOLEN
  • LDPE BRALEN+

mPE

Metallocene polyethylene

Polyethylenes produced on special metallocene catalysts. They provide excellent organoleptic properties (without smell and taste) and a high gloss. Compared to traditional PEs, they offer higher mechanical resistance combined with appropriate rigidity. Examples of applications are: ds film casting, film blow moulding and lamination.

  • PE LUMICENE

EVA

Ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer

Copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate (density 0.920-0.940 g/cm³). Depending on the vinyl acetate content (up to 30 %), there are different types of EVA with different hardness and flexibility. In comparison to PE, EVA has greater resistance to stress corrosion and UV radiation, while it is less chemically resistant. Examples of applications are: film blow moulding and extrusion.

  • EVA TOTAL
